This is another great location for fishing. We enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a lovely hike, but it is significantly longer and involves climbing uphill, so it may not be a perfect fit for small children. The grotto, which is actually more of an exposed archway, is amazing though, and a nice ideal spot to rest after the hike.
We love this delightful rest stop in Logan Canyon. Rick's Spring is a quick stop along the canyon road.

One sits under the springtime and you have to scuba dive to view it, but the other is a brief little cave to the left of the springtime. Tony Grove is one of our favorite places to go to in Logan.
The lake sits around 7 miles away from the major canyon road, however worth the trip. The wildflowers in mid- July are beautiful. Limber Pine Trail is an easy trail to this enormous tree. It is really about 7 trees that grew together, but still remarkable. The trail is scenic and even has a Bear Lake overlook.
Among the factors we take this path so frequently is to reach Bear Lake. When you reach Limber Pine Path, you are just a couple of mins from bright blue Bear Lake.
